I started installing and refinishing hardwood floors in 1991. I found great joy and accomplishment admiring a completed refinished floor. Ten years later when I became a teacher I continued floor work on the side. I transitioned from part-time flooring and teaching to refinishing full time. To me flooring is not just work, instead its a craft that I perform with great pride.
